Pros

Pay is high and there is autonomy (if you have a good manager)

Cons

Excessive hours (50-60) you are not warned of beforehand including Saturdays (no extra pay for this when you are salaried). Was also instructed to do orders at home during the night when that was not part of my job description. Other duties not outlined in description make your own samples, delivering packages so they didn't have to pay a carrier and was blamed for manager's mistakes. This is due to lean branches and employees being overworked to do the jobs of 3 people each. Supply chain was also a disaster with many things being late and upsetting customers. It was a futile, uphill battle. There was zero appreciation for working here.

Thank you for providing your feedback. As within many organizations, we faced challenges regarding our supply chain this year. The global pandemic did cause many branches to run lean and we appreciate the hard work of each and every associate as they picked up the slack. As industry bounces back we have seen an improvement on availability of product and we've continued to add additional support back to branches.

Pros

Great partners, really great people in the field, DC's, and corporate. Extremely people centric culture, both employees and customers, beautiful showrooms and great, stylish product.

Cons

Some decisions take too long to be made because everyone has a voice, but part of what makes it a great place to work.

Pros

The company is well established in the industry, which can make it easier to open doors with customers and build credibility. Their competitive pricing also helps secure specifications and create opportunities with potential clients. Or a slightly more balanced Glassdoor-style version: Pros: Well-established company with strong brand recognition, making it easier to gain access to customers and start conversations. Competitive pricing can also be an advantage when working to get products specified and win business.

Cons

If you’re writing a Glassdoor review, here’s a polished version that keeps your points while sounding professional and credible: Favoritism seemed to be a common issue. Many members of the sales team were already friends and socialized outside of work, which could make it difficult for those not part of those circles to feel included. If you didn’t fit in with the established group, it was easy to feel like an outsider. The company often promoted a “we’re all family” culture, but in reality, the environment felt very corporate. There were also an excessive number of weekly meetings. While I understand the need to track performance and ensure sales goals are met, the amount of time spent in meetings often felt excessive and took away from productive selling time. For a more concise Glassdoor-style review: Favoritism was noticeable within the sales team, as many employees were already friends outside of work, making it difficult for others to feel included. The company promoted a “family” culture, but the environment felt highly corporate. There were also too many weekly meetings. While sales accountability is important, the volume of meetings often felt excessive and reduced time available for actual sales activities.
