Pros

You will be compensated for the leaderships inability to create a strategy but your life will be miserable.

Cons

The systems and infrastructure that the company relies on have been neglected for decades. There is no CRM. The ERP runs on a system that was outdated 15 years ago. They manage all freight through 3rd party carriers. There is no consistency of service from branch-to-branch. This company is in coasting and not investing in the future. If you have any ambition of self respect do not consider a role with this organization.

Competitive pricing can also be an advantage when working to get products specified and win business.

Cons

If you’re writing a Glassdoor review, here’s a polished version that keeps your points while sounding professional and credible: Favoritism seemed to be a common issue. Many members of the sales team were already friends and socialized outside of work, which could make it difficult for those not part of those circles to feel included. If you didn’t fit in with the established group, it was easy to feel like an outsider. The company often promoted a “we’re all family” culture, but in reality, the environment felt very corporate. There were also an excessive number of weekly meetings. While I understand the need to track performance and ensure sales goals are met, the amount of time spent in meetings often felt excessive and took away from productive selling time. For a more concise Glassdoor-style review: Favoritism was noticeable within the sales team, as many employees were already friends outside of work, making it difficult for others to feel included.
