Cons
Entrenched upper management that doesn't really care what happens to new hires or recent graduates. No training prior to being sent out to the field. Poor benefits and very low pay compared to most consulting firms. Company is incapable of providing anything tangible except a report. Environmental scientists and engineers are expected to be salesmen except, as stated before, there is nothing tangible to sell. Literally had an associate principal tell several new employees that his job was safe regardless of what happened but if we didn't sell "Ensafe" to potential clients that we likely wouldn't be employed there too long. They like using the employee handbook when they really want to get rid of someone. Employee handbook states that a cellphone stipend is available for people in the field but I nor the technicians I worked with ever got any kind of allowance even though we worked much more that half our time in the field and out of town.
