Human Resources is less valued by Corporate Leadership. I have processed many market adjustments over my years with the company ensuring our staff is paid on the front end of the market. However, as an HR professional, I am not allowed to include myself and thus far, I have been unable to receive any market adjustments over the past 5 years. As a result, I have falled well behind and making less than I was when I started compared to inflation. I have raised this concern with my leadership and my requests have fallen on deaf ears.
