Pros

Excellent team who are eager to know you as an individual and train you to on the floor. They care about their patients and you get to work with an established team of physicians.

Cons

Very high patient to nurse ratio, we're talking 10-12 per nurse on a regular basis. They don't do an advanced training period which they really do need because they offer positions to a lot of new graduate nurses.

Pros

Fair wages & positive rapport with therapy team

Cons

Poor leadership/administrative management team Mixed messaging on expectations/standards Questionable execution of ethical practices High case loads and no plan of support for staff Unreasonably high expectations/weight of metrics placed on Case Mgt team and treatment team staff rather than focus of best practice outcome for patients (bc admin does not want SNF rate to increase or NRC score to drop) Admin create culture that fostered several constructive discharges of staff members No work/life balance
