Pros
The job itself is rewarding - rehabilitation medicine allows staff and patients to establish working relationship and work together for to meet the patient's goals. Therapists and nurses are very professional and an excellent team.
Cons
Senior management is becoming disengaged and it shows. The HR director is disinterested in staff and more concerned about her job. She shows little interest in staff members and a general lack of respect overall.HR contributes to the separation of staff and senior management. This Human Resource department does very little to promote itself as a resource to anyone other than senior management. There is a growing disconnect between directors and the floor staff, perpetuated by a lack of presence and genuine interest.
