Pros

Pays a little more than other regional hospitals, marginally so when the fact that you put your license on the line every day is taken into consideration

Cons

Unqualified/incompetent CNO currently who is doing a very poor job of managing the nursing portion of the hospital, often assigning 12+ patients to RNs when the interview promised 6 patients per shift. Very low morale here, lots of people on their way out, hospital needs a new CNO and a reboot before I could recommend to antone to apply here

Pros

Great team to work, people are always willing to help each other. The clinicians genuinely care about their patients and it shows every day. You feel like you’re making a difference in patients’ lives. Good teamwork between departments. Leadership listens to feedback and wants the hospital to keep improving. Positive work environment with coworkers who care about doing a good job.

Cons

Healthcare is busy, so some days can be stressful. Things can change quickly, so you have to be flexible. Communication between departments can always improve. Like most hospitals, staffing can be tight at times.
