Pros
The culture at the corporate office is fun and collaborative. There are lots of employee appreciation events and added perks like a free fitness center, affordable onsite cafe and walking trail. New employees personally meet the CEO or a Vice President shortly after being hired. This makes every employee feel seen and appreciated. Management lets corporate employees tour the local hospitals so we can better understand how our patients are being cared for and how we can support the hospital employees. Benefits are effective immediately after hire date.
Cons
With over 500 employees in the home office, it can be hard to meet people or keep up with people you've met. PTO is accrued based on hours worked, not given in a lump sum to use throughout the year. They do not give many paid holidays off work (only one day off for Christmas). No paid maternity leave.
