Pros

The insurance is good, the actual work itself isn’t bad, patients aren’t that bad.

Cons

The staff is gossipy, unprofessional, staff only selective of who they want to help. If you ask for help they catch an attitude. Supervisors don’t really care they claim they do- even if they have significant complaints on particular people, even the manager doesn’t care either. If you haven’t worked there for years they aren’t welcoming to you. They are okay with hostile environments and don’t do anything about work bullying. Be aware! Also if you aren’t PRN you don’t get the schedule you want, even if you put the time in months in advance. They are short staff that’s why they keep the bad staff members, Turn over is very bad. I wouldn’t wish this on an enemy. HR is a JOKE. I keep in contact with staff there and they said it’s still bad, that have lost people there

Fair wages & positive rapport with therapy team

Cons

Poor leadership/administrative management team Mixed messaging on expectations/standards Questionable execution of ethical practices High case loads and no plan of support for staff Unreasonably high expectations/weight of metrics placed on Case Mgt team and treatment team staff rather than focus of best practice outcome for patients (bc admin does not want SNF rate to increase or NRC score to drop) Admin create culture that fostered several constructive discharges of staff members No work/life balance
