Pros

Co-worker culture, smaller facility, great cafeteria.

Cons

Crazy high turnover, no on-site security guard, and lazy management. Patients ran the place, and the cops were regularly called. Management would make big speeches about accountability and improvement, but never did anything other than give free ice cream. Pay was slightly above-average for the area, but not enough to deal with the nonsense. See: turnover.

Fair wages & positive rapport with therapy team

Cons

Poor leadership/administrative management team Mixed messaging on expectations/standards Questionable execution of ethical practices High case loads and no plan of support for staff Unreasonably high expectations/weight of metrics placed on Case Mgt team and treatment team staff rather than focus of best practice outcome for patients (bc admin does not want SNF rate to increase or NRC score to drop) Admin create culture that fostered several constructive discharges of staff members No work/life balance
