Strong resources and treatment activities available and encourages evidence based practice, strong pay

Cons

The cons vary by branch-overall poor work life balance- very stressful since its for profit the documentation, billing and procedures for auditing are extensive While treating a patient, you will be asked to POS delivery, respond to emails immediately, make your schedule, update excel docs- so you cant fully attend to a patient At my location there is a culture of understaffing, 7 hours of treating for productivity standards result in lack of time for quality care doing nursing assistant and technician responsibilities,

Fair wages & positive rapport with therapy team

Cons

Poor leadership/administrative management team Mixed messaging on expectations/standards Questionable execution of ethical practices High case loads and no plan of support for staff Unreasonably high expectations/weight of metrics placed on Case Mgt team and treatment team staff rather than focus of best practice outcome for patients (bc admin does not want SNF rate to increase or NRC score to drop) Admin create culture that fostered several constructive discharges of staff members No work/life balance
