Pros

Great experience & opportunity to network in different hospital systems. Pay is okay. Once you establish your territory it’s fairly easy.

Cons

Management especially in the South Atlantic region have no care for turn over!! The Regionals Margo & Rachel don’t bat an eye when marketing departments lose 10+ reps in over a year (just replace them they say). Bad management just continues. CEOs resign. There’s hardly any room for growth & when there is BDDs play favorites (if you are not Caucasian best of luck growing). Slow PTO & no maternity leave

Fair wages & positive rapport with therapy team

Cons

Poor leadership/administrative management team Mixed messaging on expectations/standards Questionable execution of ethical practices High case loads and no plan of support for staff Unreasonably high expectations/weight of metrics placed on Case Mgt team and treatment team staff rather than focus of best practice outcome for patients (bc admin does not want SNF rate to increase or NRC score to drop) Admin create culture that fostered several constructive discharges of staff members No work/life balance
