Pros
My director is actually pretty good to work with... His only flaw is that he knows enough about AV to waste my time on set days... I get a list of equipment to set in a room that may or may not be the actual equipment that will be used... I enjoy working here because of the people I work with... It is mostly entertaining, when you're not sweating in a suit... because you can't wear regular clothes while at work... in a ballroom... on a lift...
Cons
My god, the hours... The pay scale... Working with hotel sales people... who are numb skulls... Being in a place that you have to keep the clientele, the hotel management, hotel setups, & your staff and management happy all at the same time... you have no power whatsoever... The team leader position... It's a joke...
