Pros
Pay is consistent with the cost of living for the area. Great co-workers and opportunity to learn from them. Hotel staff is great and there are plenty of networking opportunities.
Cons
Blatant favoritism. If you stand up for yourself and ask too many questions, you end up at the bottom of that favorite list. Once you're at the bottom it doesn't matter how well you do, or how well you work, or how much your coworkers and hotel staff like you, you won't get recognition for it and will get called out on all the little things that you do wrong. Horrible communication between sales, management, the hotel staff, and techs. Taking things to your RVP or HR makes no difference in how you are treated. Good luck being treated equally and paid equally if you're a female.
