It’s a challenging environment which pushes you to constantly learn and try to be better.
Cons
HR was not transparent about commission structure during hiring and made it seem significantly higher than it is. Expect to work extra on nights and weekends because there is not enough time to get job done during standard hours. Of course you come in during your events too, that’s expected in the industry. If your team messes up and fails to deliver the experience you booked for your customer, you’ll end up comping thousands of dollars affecting your commission. The company does not look for ways to make the sales process efficient, so be prepared to work extra hard to accomplish things that should be so much easier.
