Pros
1. Downtown location 2. Decent healthcare
Cons
1. Managers are micromanagers that create an abusive and hostile work environment. Management belittles, threatens and even cyber stalks their employees. Even after acknowledging the issues human resources points to management to correct the situation but management points to human resources to correct - thus nothing gets resolved. 2. Directors only hire their friends and cover up the abuse that their managers are inflicting with zero checks and balances 3. Non technical managers lead technical programs that they know little about. 4. Major safety issues with pipeline leaks and releases weekly. VP laughed about making the paper for a large release. 5. Lies, cover ups and hiding information during meetings and audits. Management claims that lying to the auditors and the public is a "business decision". 6. Lack of diversity. People of color and women are nearly non existant 7. Lack of training - When requesting training, management claims there is no money in the budget even with record profits. 8. career progression - unless you are best friends with the manager, you will not be promoted. In fact you won't even have discussions about your career at all. 9. 360 reviews are not completed so that individuals can provide anonymous feedback about their managers 10. No real work from home policy (10 days is all you get per year). 11. Maternity leave is 8 weeks. The industry is going to atleast 12 weeks with some places offering 6 months. 12. Incentive seems great at first but due to the reasons above you will likely not stay the required years to receive said bonus. 13. 401k matching is a minimal 5% with no pension. it also isn't vested until a year later.
