Pros
Good place to be a trader - a lot of autonomy and strong appetite for risk. Even loss making people are given a lot of time to recover.
Cons
Back office culture is very political as many believe that preferential treatment is given to ex-BTG employees from Brazil: promotions, career path, transfers etc., all which are rarely available to international employees. Redundancy is a real risk as the company is downsizing and closing businesses.
