My Entire Department Was Closed - Anonymous employee Enghouse Systems Employee Review

Thank you for your input. Enghouse Systems is an acquisitions based company. Our business model provides our current and acquired employees with long-term, stable employment. To my knowledge, we have not closed down an entire marketing department anywhere. With respect to the comments concerning top management, I’m not familiar with your situation, but if you’d like to reach out to share more details, I would be interested in hearing from you. I can say that we have programs at Enghouse to create consistent performance standards in the company. Last fall we improved our annual performance review process for all Enghouse employees to identify where our managers and employees are performing well, and where there is room for growth. In addition to this, we are launching a management training program early next year to ensure that our managers have the tools that they need to effectively lead and communicate with their departments. Together, these programs will give us the opportunity to recognize strong employees and leaders, while working with others to help them reach their full potential.
