Pros
Hardly any. Co-workers are great people to work with. They breed a culture of destroying carriers that haul their freight. I got tired of speaking with carriers that begged to have their invoices paid in full. We were taught to fine carriers heavily.
Cons
Many. Their attitude towards customers creates a "just another number" effect. It's very similar with the carriers we tried to utilize.
