Pros
I worked at Envois for almost 2 years. While I appreciated having the opportunity to gain some experience in the medical equipment industry, my overall time there was challenging for several reasons.
Cons
One of the biggest issues was the management. It often felt disorganized, with inconsistent communication and a lack of clear direction. This made it difficult to perform effectively and feel confident in my role. Training was another significant area that needed improvement. The onboarding process was minimal, and the ongoing support for employees was inadequate, leaving many of us to figure out critical aspects of the job on our own. Safety was also a serious concern. Basic workplace safety protocols were often ignored or overlooked, creating an unsafe and unnecessarily stressful environment. Employees frequently raised these concerns on the field while traveling to patients' houses, but they were rarely addressed, which was disappointing. Finally, the company seemed to struggle with retaining employees. High turnover was common, and it was clear that many of my colleagues left due to frustration over these same issues. This constant cycle of new hires made it hard to maintain consistency and morale within the team. While Enovis had potential, it was clear that substantial improvements were needed in management, training, and workplace safety to create a sustainable and positive environment for employees.
