Pros
I like to describe Entelo's culture as one where everyone is thoughtful, respectful and considerate. There is true work-life balance here in that most people are in the office ~50-60 hours/week at most. Many employees have families and children, so the company is incredibly respectful of everyone's other responsibilities. Additionally, Entelo is a great place for personal growth. Multiple people on the team have played a variety of different roles and have gotten the chance to work on a variety of different challenges. Every employee gets $1,000 to spend annually on their own professional development (courses, conference, coaching, etc.) and there are regular weekly check-ins with managers to cover a variety of topics including both professional and personal matters- whatever employees want to discuss. The leadership team is strong and highly professional. They tend to be empathetic, responsive to employees short-term and long-term needs and deeply care about building a long-lasting, fun and successful company. I have really enjoyed working here, and it's fun seeing others join and also enjoy their time here. The team is growing fast, and there's been a buzz with all the new hiring. The company is hitting a stride and seems both a lot of growth as well as success are in the imminent future.
Cons
As with other startups, there's a lot that still needs to be done, so there isn't always as much structure as you'd have with a larger company. Additionally, there are some benefits that the company doesn't cover yet, but will in the near future. Compensation tends to skew towards variable components, that may be lower on the base but more than make up for it with excellent performance. For some, that may sound difficult, but it does set things up in a way where success translates into being fairly compensated.
