Pros
Remote working in most departments still as of 2023. Pay tends to be higher than the industry. The company does offer 9/80 work schedule, but you never get the alternate Fridays completely off. By and large, you can skate by most days doing minimal work since management is always in their own management calls and meetings. This can lead to many days where you don’t have any work at all. If you love to attend parties in the evenings, numerous social events, and doing anything other than actual work, it’s great.
Cons
Every department has multiple managers, but no people to manage. There is no work balance. You will get emails constantly at night and on the weekends and holidays where you are expected to drop what you are doing and respond. The company spends money frivolously as management understands it has a captive customer base that has no choice for service, but seemingly is always unable to make necessary investments in its facilities or individuals. None of the management is able to make a decision for themselves or their departments by themselves. Every decision has to be ran by every other manager for review.
