Pros
Co-workers are great to work with. There's always food available. Great benefits. Very stable company that's growing. Some flexible hours.
Cons
Always working long hours every day, including weekends. Managers still unhappy with your work. Have no consideration for work/life balance, even though they espouse this philosophy. Expect to get assignments at the last minute when you are about to leave work. One dept is favored over another in recognition and rewards(DEV +, QA -). Appearance/assumptions are more important than performance/production -- manager will discount your work at review time, and make up some lame reason why you "Need Improvement" in a bogus area. Also promotion only comes after working here for 3 years - again, not based on your performance. Lack of opportunities to learn new technical skills because of politics, not because there aren't any opportunities here. Salary is below market average. Very high stress environment. Already some senior engineers have left the company. Company core values aren't always practiced by management, but they expect non-managerial staff to follow these tenets.
