Pros

- There were and maybe still are a lot of nice people that work there (pro) but nice people become jaded over time because they're expected to pick up the slack of others - Dress code and work environment is relaxed, people wear t shirts and jeans - Opportunity for experience because you'll be asked to do some of everything, if you're young this might be helpful - Looking through yearbooks can be funny at times - The company tries to plan fun events, not sure what they're like now but they got worse with time

Cons

- CEO and COO micromanage, degrade, and treat employees poorly - The backbone of this company is the team that assembles the books and yet they get the least reward for their work: most are immigrants and i think this is why it's easy to take advantage - Nepotism - Management is a mess and communication is subpar - You will be required to do extra things and work overtime in the name of "company spirit" and (potentially) a raise - Compensation in comparison to the amount of work - The office is messy, it may seem appealing during the interview process because it's colorful but its a hodge podge of furniture and junk - CEO will create an excuse so you never get a full bonus

Pros

Fast-growing company with a lot of opportunity to take on responsibility and make an impact quickly • Leadership is very involved and accessible; ideas can actually turn into action • Strong sense of ownership across teams (people are trusted to run with things) • Collaborative environment, especially between sales, account management, and operations • Company is constantly evolving and trying to improve (processes, tech, structure) • Exposure to multiple parts of the business, not siloed • Team is hardworking and cares about customers and outcomes • Good place for people who want to grow quickly and are comfortable in a fast-paced environment • Willingness to invest in new initiatives and test ideas • Culture emphasizes accountability and doing what you say you’ll do

Cons

Can be very fast-paced, which may feel overwhelming at times • Workload can be heavy during peak production season (longer hours, reduced flexibility) • Processes are still being built and refined, which can create ambiguity • Not the best fit for someone who prefers very structured roles or clear boundaries • Priorities can shift quickly as the company evolves • Communication across teams can sometimes be inconsistent during busy periods • High expectations for performance and ownership • Requires strong time management and ability to handle pressure

Pros

Flexible and the bosses were not hard watching you to get work done. As long as you did a good amount of work and you were doing it right, you were left alone for the most part.

Cons

Lack of a detailed training situation. I only knew what I did because another person there took it upon himself to teach me how to do stuff and what to do.
