Pros

Company tries to distract you with swag and snacks. The values are great but management doesn't adhere to them. If you are an LDS man who likes sports you'll get promoted in Support.

Cons

Support is run by men who openly play favorites. If you take a concern to management they will gossip about you and then write you up for having the concern in the first place. The management treats you like a child who can't be trusted to wipe their own nose; don't leave for lunch a minute early or come back from break a second late or you'll get into trouble. You also get in trouble for going to doctors appointments so hopefully you are healthy and someone else can take your kids if they are sick. If you are a woman and show any kind of intelligence or have suggestions on how to improve your product they will give you a promise to get you to create something, that is outside of your work duties, and then take credit for it and retract their promise. If you are a man and have the same idea you will get promoted right away. If you are a woman and work hard and are the top performer you will just get more job duties piled on; if you are a man you will get promoted. If a manager hears you talk about going out for drinks or learns that you can work on Sunday because you are not LDS then you get shunned for not "fitting in" and then ordered to work every Sunday because the rest of your team is LDS and can't work on Sunday. Since support is run by threatening employees your co-workers are quick to stab others in the back.

Pros

I have a pretty good group of team members. My mid-level supervisor is also easy to work with and supportive.

Cons

Entrata does not care about their employees, or even their products/services. This is made clear by insane workloads, exhausting meetings with escalated clients, and a “standard” 3% (if you are exceeding expectations and lucky) raise. I do moderately technical work that requires a decent amount of experience, as well as a client facing and internal leadership role, and I don’t make what is considered a “living wage” in Utah, even after years of working here. Execs seem to be having a great time partying at Summit with the most expensive celebrities they can book (Seinfeld, James Cordon, Tom Brady, Weezer…) but absolutely do not care about the uninvited staff who are working to support their client retention and their low-bar concept of product integrity.
