Pros

There is a lot of flexibility for entry level positions (coaches and QA also have pretty good flexibility). You can get insurance even if you work part time. If you are on the phones (Leasing Center Agent - entry level position), you can work on homework when there is wait time. As a Leasing Center Phone Agent, there are plenty of ways to get raises; the main way being through your performance. However, as you go up the latter, it is harder to get raises. They have a break room with some free food, soda machine, and ping pong table. They have fun work parties a couple times a year. Work with great people - can be A LOT of fun sometimes!

Cons

They have what they call occurrences and credits to track attendance. You get occurrences through your absences and tardies; you get credits by working extra hours and through months worked. This is actually a really good system, but there are instances it doesn't work well. For example: say you call in sick but you got someone to cover a couple hours in the middle of your shift, you would actually get more occurrences because the system sees your now split shift as two shifts. Other cons: If you work hard as a phone agent and make it up to say $14/hr but then you have the opportunity to become a coach and QA specialist you would take a pay cut even though it is supposedly a lateral move. You actually CAN'T make as much when you're a coach or QA as you do on the phones. Coaches and QA specialist do A LOT more work than phone agents. The environment is great when you start out, but as time goes on, Entrata shows their true colors - especially the higher up you go. Don't expect your voice to be heard, especially if you are a manager appealing to someone higher up. I love the face Entrata greets you with - their values - but they don't always live those values. Overall, I think the company is great, but working there? It's only great for a limited amount of time. That is if the values and environment are important to you.

Pros

I have a pretty good group of team members. My mid-level supervisor is also easy to work with and supportive.

Cons

Entrata does not care about their employees, or even their products/services. This is made clear by insane workloads, exhausting meetings with escalated clients, and a “standard” 3% (if you are exceeding expectations and lucky) raise. I do moderately technical work that requires a decent amount of experience, as well as a client facing and internal leadership role, and I don’t make what is considered a “living wage” in Utah, even after years of working here. Execs seem to be having a great time partying at Summit with the most expensive celebrities they can book (Seinfeld, James Cordon, Tom Brady, Weezer…) but absolutely do not care about the uninvited staff who are working to support their client retention and their low-bar concept of product integrity.
