Pros

Great people - wonderful coworkers, very friendly managers Amazing work/life balance - fully remote option Good benefits - health & wellness stipend, partial health insurance coverage

Cons

Little to no collaboration or teamwork- I do not feel like I'm a part of a team most of the time. No streamlining for how certain tasks should be completed. Very high turnover - LOTS of resignations after a huge round of layoffs, creating a terrible culture and low morale Terrible pay - no transparency about promotions or raises HR feels like a ghost. Lots of talk, no action; lots of reaching out, no response. CEO does not offer much in the way of promising our financial security after such a rocky 6 months of instability

Pros

A community of mission-driven staff who truly care about the planet and the causes that EDF advances. Extremely smart and kind staff. Incredible benefits, including a significant amount of company days off (summer Fridays, org shut-down for one week at the end of August, days off include Veteran's Day and Juneteenth); very generous benefits.

Cons

Out-of-touch top leadership, especially Executive Director, who pretends to be authentic and caring but isn't at all.
