      Excellent work environment, intelligent and dedicated coworkers, interesting research projects. A great way to increase skills and experience in research when finishing a degree or continuing in schooling.

      Cons

      Fed positions virtually never open up. A student services contract is very unlikely to lead to permanent employment.
