Pros

Flight benefits are the same as mainline American Airlines

Cons

The company basically expects you to give your life to them -- no work/life balance. For your first six months you will most likely have a four hour work day, but, almost always, you will be extended--mandatory overtime without the overtime pay. Speaking of pay, it is extremely low. 9.47 starting out, and maxing out at 15.76 an hour after twelve years with the company. Meanwhile mainline starts out at 14.50 an hour, and maxes out at $35. Miami Envoy Management is always looking for ways to pin the blame on employees, and always to absolve themselves of responsibility. Both management and entry level employees have a severely high rate of turnover because of the very low pay. Most move to other airlines or mainline when they realize nobody can survive on Envoy's low low pay. Equipment like tugs, bag carts, trucks, catering vehicles, and vans are all in severely poor condition and are highly dangerous. The company claims that new equipment is too expensive.

Pros

Wonderful People, good communication, excellent travel benefits

Cons

Poor training for the small things that count for a lot and maintaining a good and clean record or from a accruing points. Need more attention to this during training or a manual to be given .
