Pros

Potential for growth if you’re willing to sell out and put quality aside.

Cons

So many… - At the end of the day the only thing above club cares about is how much money did they make, literally every group thread is related to how do we make more? - Overpriced training / underpaid trainers - No raises for trainers since 2019 while outrageously increasing training costs over that time - Strings if lies about new equipment that never shows up - Outdated / missing / broken equipment 24/7 - Overpriced supplements that they force you to shove down members / clients throats and scold you when you don’t - Budget for marketing is through the roof while club maintenance / equipment repair / equipment replacement is so low you have to improvise every training session even though yearly ‘maintenance fees’ come out of every members pocket yearly - Employee retention is terrible, in club employees generally bond / work well together while above club management grinds everyone down with sales / make us more money / work more hours because you didn’t make us more money - Constantly making changes to ‘systems’ that we use daily to do our jobs that make daily routine harder and harder for no reason - Long term employees that leave the company are commonly met with hostility / cold-shoulder or asked to not come back - Started as a great solid ‘member first’, ‘quality over quantity’ company and now members / clients / employees are no more than numbers on a spread sheet forgotten under the spread sheet showing money and profit

Pros

The actual FIELD leadership is awesome.

Cons

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: The job posting claims you'll find "a highly energetic and collaborative team" and "a management team that cares about your professional development." This is not what I experienced. I experienced inconsistent treatment, favoritism, exclusion, and a complete absence of the professional management standards that any HR function should model. If you're interviewing with this company, ask specifically about management style, equity in how employees are treated, and what the actual discipline process looks like in practice. Don't accept reassurance. Ask for specifics. I do not recommend EoS Fitness as an employer, particularly if your manager works under this current HR leadership. The risk to your career, wellbeing, and financial stability is not worth it!!
