I'm paid to be a trainer, not a team member. - Certified Personal Trainer EoS Fitness Employee Review

Pros

Education opportunities are either discounted or free. The company will provide you with a majority of your clients.

Cons

You are expected to work more than you're compensated (clean/maintain the bathrooms, man the front desk, only clock in for 3 hours max each week for administrative work such as programming or scheduling). You are expected to be a salesperson in addition to a PT and the commission rates are awful and poor sales performance limits your ability to progress.

Pros

The actual FIELD leadership is awesome.

Cons

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: The job posting claims you'll find "a highly energetic and collaborative team" and "a management team that cares about your professional development." This is not what I experienced. I experienced inconsistent treatment, favoritism, exclusion, and a complete absence of the professional management standards that any HR function should model. If you're interviewing with this company, ask specifically about management style, equity in how employees are treated, and what the actual discipline process looks like in practice. Don't accept reassurance. Ask for specifics. I do not recommend EoS Fitness as an employer, particularly if your manager works under this current HR leadership. The risk to your career, wellbeing, and financial stability is not worth it!!
