Pros

- Continued Education Units - The Equipment (NEW LOCATION) - Tools (Trainerize, Evolt360, etc.)

Cons

The pay structure at EoS is quite odd. You have 5 hours of clock in time for admin duties. That could include anything from helping the front desk, working the supps table, cleaning up the gym, or programming for your clients. The rest of your income comes from the half hour or hour long session you are assign from the fitness manager. Depending on how long you wait it out is depending on how long it'll take to reach a full forty hour week. I worked their for about six months and barely broke over $1000 per two weeks. EoS also expects you to break your scope of practice as a personal trainer. Selling supplements and working on diet is out of the scope of practice for a trainer. Depending on your co-workers you also might lose clients or leads if management deems they want to meet their required numbers. The fitness managers dont have your back. They would rather play buddy buddy with their friends than actually help or lead.

Pros

The actual FIELD leadership is awesome.

Cons

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: The job posting claims you'll find "a highly energetic and collaborative team" and "a management team that cares about your professional development." This is not what I experienced. I experienced inconsistent treatment, favoritism, exclusion, and a complete absence of the professional management standards that any HR function should model. If you're interviewing with this company, ask specifically about management style, equity in how employees are treated, and what the actual discipline process looks like in practice. Don't accept reassurance. Ask for specifics. I do not recommend EoS Fitness as an employer, particularly if your manager works under this current HR leadership. The risk to your career, wellbeing, and financial stability is not worth it!!
