Pros

Free membership & in the gym all day.

Cons

- cold calling - poor quality leads - low hourly - low commission - unrealistic quotas Cold calling & poor quality leads: Most of the profiles you’re calling are people who already decided they are not interested in joining and are now just lingering in the system. You’ll also see they’ve already gotten tons of call attempts, emails, and texts from other sales members and the system. But there are fresh leads that might sprinkle in throughout your day. These are people who are actively on the EoS website and filling out their info. But, it’s usually only a couple per day, and it’s up for grabs to anyone on the sales team. First one gets it. Walk/phone-ins are great, however, those are given out based on a ladder system (first GM, AGM, FC1, FC2, etc) Low pay: EOS’ own data shows that most fitness consultants only make 20k-30k a year, an incredibly low amount for the work and effort expected of you. Unrealistic quotas: With poor leads and low traffic, you’re still expected to hit high quotas. The higher ups are making these quotas with different goals in mind, and don’t quite understand the reality of the market and sales position.

Pros

The actual FIELD leadership is awesome.

Cons

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: The job posting claims you'll find "a highly energetic and collaborative team" and "a management team that cares about your professional development." This is not what I experienced. I experienced inconsistent treatment, favoritism, exclusion, and a complete absence of the professional management standards that any HR function should model. If you're interviewing with this company, ask specifically about management style, equity in how employees are treated, and what the actual discipline process looks like in practice. Don't accept reassurance. Ask for specifics. I do not recommend EoS Fitness as an employer, particularly if your manager works under this current HR leadership. The risk to your career, wellbeing, and financial stability is not worth it!!
