In- service trainings, working with clients most of the time. Had a great team who are now great friends.
Cons
Stressful and overwhelming work environment with very little support. The adult services department needs to be revamped in it’s entirety. It doesn’t function efficiently. There was obvious staff splitting within the department leaving less room for team collaboration and more negative criticism. Coordinators had resisted to changes leading to minimal growth within the agency and little trust in new employees that came on board. There were times when it was so chaotic staff, clients and upper management were in constant miscommunication I felt like my head was going to explode. Upper management expected you to create things that weren't in place and then reprimand you if it wasn't done right. ???!?
