Pros

The pay is good. Pray that you get with a good leader.

Cons

I worked here for 5 years and after struggles in my 3rd role with the company I was thrown out like trash all while other roles were available. I did not benefit from having great leaders around me. People at Equifax ONLY know what THEY do. They are clueless to what is being done in other departments and they don't work across the enterprise. The customers and the consumers suffer for this. Not enough diversity. They say a lot of the correct things but the actions don't show.

Pros

My direct manager. Comp plan if you’re lucky enough to find several whale clients, and if you’re lucky, the commission is approved.

Cons

There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
