Pros

Good pay and good benefits

Cons

I no longer work there, but I am still in contact with many of my former co-workers. This used to be a great company, but they have lost most of the operations people either to other companies or through RIFs. Now it seems as though there is no one left who knows how to deliver what has been claimed by upper management. In addition, they seem to be making promises to Wall Street that they cannot deliver.

My direct manager. Comp plan if you’re lucky enough to find several whale clients, and if you’re lucky, the commission is approved.

Cons

There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
