      Pros

      The people. Period. At every level of the organization, the people here are smart, hard-working, creative, and take a partnered approach. People drive culture and Equinix has the best culture I've seen in the Valley (in fairness, I've only worked at a handful of companies in my career). Our stock price is also doing well which is a great bonus!

      Cons

      Like all growing companies, we are managing scale and all that comes with it. It is not necessarily a con, but from an employee perspective, does create challenges. The environment is fluid and workload is heavy. But that is to be expected in a rapidly growing organization. It helps to genuinely like and respect the people you work with and believe in the direction the company is heading.

      Pros

      Company is strong financially. No chance of layoff. Many opportunities to work overtime if you want extra hours.

      Cons

      Very busy, they need to hire more people.

      Great people in various internal roles.

      Cons

      CRO and Senior leadership failed with execution of their CS REORGANIZATION! They laid off exceptional and tenured talent who were either not replaced or new job requisitions filled with external candidates. Upon making internal employees aware of layoffs, they did so in such a callous manner with complete disregard for humanity. It was literally appalling and disgusting! The ‘Magic of Equinix’ (I belong. I matter. I feel safe.) is no longer present and hasn’t been for over two years. No work life balance. Everyone is just a number so why be an over achiever in such an awful space. Morale is lower than ever!
