While it is always a challenge to balance the speed of innovation with our desire to provide our customers with the high quality service they expect from Equinix, we have put more emphasis on innovation within the CTO office in recent months. Some examples of our recent innovation activities include participation in the Stanford Platform LAB and joining the Open Compute Project with Facebook and many other industry technology leaders.       Pros

      Company is strong financially. No chance of layoff. Many opportunities to work overtime if you want extra hours.

      Very busy, they need to hire more people.

      Great people in various internal roles.

      Cons

      CRO and Senior leadership failed with execution of their CS REORGANIZATION! They laid off exceptional and tenured talent who were either not replaced or new job requisitions filled with external candidates. Upon making internal employees aware of layoffs, they did so in such a callous manner with complete disregard for humanity. It was literally appalling and disgusting! The ‘Magic of Equinix’ (I belong. I matter. I feel safe.) is no longer present and hasn’t been for over two years. No work life balance. Everyone is just a number so why be an over achiever in such an awful space. Morale is lower than ever!
