• No work life balance - always working full weekends.
• Benefits, specifically the health insurance is terrible and very expensive.
• Commission structure doesn’t make sense and is too low. When I asked for clarification about the commission structure, both of my managers were unable to answer my questions.
• The training process is absolutely terrible and even when that is shared with the VP and other management, it is ignored and unchanged.
• Turn over is insane - great employees are not valued or appreciated until they give their 2 weeks notice.
• Although Equity Residential promotes career growth, there is no clear career path for Leasing Consultants and there is no focus on your development. False promises.
• Inappropriate and unprofessional management.
• Equity Residential claims that they want their employees to speak up and question authority but when employees do, their thoughts and opinions are ignored and employees end up regretting saying anything in the first place.
