Pros
Good company overall. Pay is decent for the area. Benefits are standard. Good culture at the production facilities. Talks a great game and has built a strong employee commitment to the company
Cons
Company has become more political over the years and extremely top heavy. For example, a color are safety engineer with a few years of experience and zero management experience magically got promoted to a new “VP of Product Stewardship”. He didn’t do anything in that role so they created a new role for him as “VP of Organizational Development”..... The number of VPs and Senior VPs is truly staggering for a company this small. One of the other examples is a poorly performing Operations Manager jumping a ton of people and being promoted to Senior VP of the entire division in less than a year. Him and the new COO were buddies but I’m sure that didn’t have anything to do with it.
