Pros
Ericsson is very good to its people, as far as large companies go. They are flexible and it's quite easy to move within the company, often to different countries if one wants to. They are supportive in times of personal trouble, allowing flexible working, good support and so forth. This may be an artifact of their Swedish roots, but they are very good at treating their employees well.
Cons
The salaries tend to be a little on the low side for the industry. In addition, Ericsson is very process-driven. Simple things can sometimes be slow and painstaking. The process is important to ensure consistency, but can be sclerotic at times.
