Pros

Ericsson provides tremendous opportunities to be a part of the global advancement of the communication industry. There are many chances to travel globally and work on teams that are helping to drive the future of telecommunications. The company is highly respected, and management has an innate sense of carefully calculating the right moves to successfully propel the company forward. The ability to hitch their wagon to the right technology path for the future has been proven time and again when at crossroads in technology, Ericsson makes the best decisions. There is also a major focus on professional services and Ericsson is the leading services company in telecom. As an individual, expect to work hard and forge your own network in the company but also know that you will find people at Ericsson helpful, respectful, unassuming and hard working. e.

Cons

Very large matrixed organizations, and very much things get done by who is in your personal network, regardless of org charts. You need to be a self-starter and willing to build that network. The three major business units are not highly integrated and can run like separate businesses. One time when you will find it difficult to move things forward or get rapid response or input from headquarters in Stockholm is during summer holiday in Sweden when most people take a number of weeks off. The advent of mobile broadband though is helping to change that somewhat, as Ericsson employees also are connected now anytime, anyplace.

Pros

-Technological superior to most other companies with use of AI and promising future tech/programs -benefits and pay are very competetive -room for professional growth and advancement if you know how to work in a corporate environment -resume development and professional advancement

Cons

-leadership ideology doesnt match the company/CEOs mission statement or belief (company is said to be all for safety yet leaders get put in charge and quickly dismantle and lay off 3 quarters of the safety department) -Leadership changes structure to benefit themselves by having all support functions report to them instead of the CEO, this ensures all support functions take a back seat to production and financial gain to include their employees well being -Company restructured and reorganizes very often while showing no loyalty to the employees who work hard and want to stay, this leads to turn over of great employees.
