Pros
Entrepreneurial spirit gets recognized and rewarded - you sometimes get the opportunity to drive your own ideas if you can convince your boss; good place that recognizes that there is life outside of work; if you work for a good boss you can go a long way; many oppportunities tow work international but (depending on job category) not always required
Cons
Highly political; personal growth and feedback is mostly dependent on you manager and your grandfather (managers manager) - if one of them sucks you can have a hard time; No strategy for talent management; no long-term planning for most employees; very technocratic and silo-oriented; only few people forcus on the best for the company - the not-invented-here spirit is to strong.
