Great Place to Work - Project Manager II (IT) Erie Insurance Group Employee Review

Pros

Erie insurance is deeply committed to it's customers, agents, community, and especially employees. Erie has been doing more to solicit feedback from employees and take action based on that feedback. The new fitness center is something employees have been asking for and it will be a reality in early 2017. Most employees are excited about the recent announcement of the new office building being constructed on the campus in downtown Erie. Drive around the campus and surrounding areas and you can see the commitment Erie Insurance is making to the community.

Cons

There aren't many. Employees who complain have likely worked at very few places to have a basis for comparison.

Pros

Good benefits that’s about it

Cons

You have to be a robot to get a yearly raise worth anything. They don’t really care about the employees you’re just a number. In training, they make you feel like it’s gonna be more than that but after you’re done, absolutely not. That’s how they get you and they start you out at pretty good money and you really don’t make much from there unless like I said you’re a robot. Supervisors don’t care, director doesn’t care, unless you’re a robot. Not the vibe for 2026. Don’t be swindled, Corporate life is not fun unless you want to be a zombie robot like all the high ups and who really wants that?
