Grounded Company. Not Evolving. - Claims Adjuster Erie Insurance Group Employee Review

Pros

Compensation is competitive but not industry leading. Lots of positive, friendly employees. Benefits package is industry-leading. Training exemplifies patience and grace.

Cons

Company has reversed position on flexible hybrid work schedule. Employees went from working up to 3 days at home to 1 day per week. Nearly half of current workforce was hired for a hybrid position and have now had 2/3 of their flexibility taken without warning. This is due to antiquated company culture that values employees’ time in their offices over time in their homes. Morale is very poor at this time company-wide.

Pros

Good benefits that’s about it

Cons

You have to be a robot to get a yearly raise worth anything. They don’t really care about the employees you’re just a number. In training, they make you feel like it’s gonna be more than that but after you’re done, absolutely not. That’s how they get you and they start you out at pretty good money and you really don’t make much from there unless like I said you’re a robot. Supervisors don’t care, director doesn’t care, unless you’re a robot. Not the vibe for 2026. Don’t be swindled, Corporate life is not fun unless you want to be a zombie robot like all the high ups and who really wants that?
