Pros

-Lots of room for advancement -Stable company -High degree of job security -Chance to be a part of building something

Cons

-Residual legacy management practices can feel restrictive or dated -Still in growth phase so comp not always in line with market -This isn't a place for free radicals; if you need to row to your own tune this isn't the place -Lots of tribes; can be tough to overcome golden age thinking

Thank you for your review and for providing a great title. "You get what you give" I tell my kids this all the time it is great life advice and great employee/employer advice. We do pride ourselves of having a company where each person can play a critical role in helping to reshape and contribute to the companies success. That being said it seems that we still have some things to work on. I would encourage this employee to challenge the norms and point out when we are thinking restrictively, in a dated where or when they think they are being impeded from thinking differently. We should never all think a like we need differing views and opinions to make us strong. I hope this person feels empowered to address any issues that they have straight on and live the example of "you get what you give". We want to always strive to be a better organization. Thank you, George

Thank you for your review. We take pride in our long history in the industry as many of competitors have struggled to meet the demands of the Telecom space. You do not have to look far and deep to see the competitors that have disappeared over the past 31 years (Nortel, Toshiba, Executone, Comdial, Rolm, Tie, etc...). By my count there are at least 20 manufacturers that have come and gone or filed for bankruptcy. Over the past 31 years we have not spent a lot of money on marketing in the traditional sense. We work with a large network of experienced resellers and agents that are on the front lines doing the prospecting for new opportunities. We use our marketing $'s to try to support our partners efforts to succeed. As far as training goes. We do have internal discussions underway to improve our on boarding and training processes. Those processes start with proper documentation which is being updated as the business evolves. George
