Pros

Eh... the pay was good, for the veterinary field. It was close to my home. Hours were nice as it’s 24 hours which gives flexibility.

Cons

Rude co workers, incredibly cliquey. Basically will edge you out if you don’t fit in. Training is a joke, but then they’re surprised if you don’t succeed.... when your training program is out dated by at least a year and you’re consistently giving contradicting information it’s really hard for new staff to thrive. No one knows what protocol is. Doctors have awful bedside manner and are often rude to clients, and patients for that matter, calling them names and saying they’re ugly. Upper management is absolutely in the dark about what truly happens at that practice. There are some talented technicians there who deserve better, but for the most part everyone is miserable. It’s so hard working in such a miserable, unhappy environment- your day drags on and on. All in all not a great experience.

Pros

People you work with are fantastic. The medicine is high quality. If you are a hard worker and team player, you can spend years here building your career.

Cons

The high-up leadership and C-suite never had clear communication of the direction of the company. Because of this changes happen overnight and you are left to adapt quickly. It is pulling teeth to do your work because there are so many road blocks and approvals and levels of "managers" with egos to get through which slows progress and innovation. There are many managers and people not in correct roles. Even with managers and leads, unsure who is really in charge. Lots of layoffs across all corporate roles quite often.
