Regardless of how above and beyond you go outwith your role there is no recognition. Salary has no bearing on your performance - if anything, don’t even offer to help elsewhere because you will see no reward People leave and their job is either advertised once they’ve left or months down the line when there is nobody to show them how to do the role they’ve been employed to do, leaving other people, who are pushed as it is, to attempt to show them the way forward! There is then a blame culture due to lack of said training which we don’t even know how to provide. Processes change and a “teams” meeting with a PowerPoint slideshow is expected to be the “appropriate” training for said new process. Happy to employ Sales Managers to get the POs but can’t seem to advertise for the support staff who do the leg work to carry job from handover to completion and get the money in!
