I don’t even know where to begin. I was working for a company when our contract was bought out by Ettain. In the first couple months we were acquired two additional times by two other staffing companies. Ettain will make you feel replaceable. They do not care who you are or what you do, they will have someone in your seat tomorrow. They do not do performance reviews, they do not give raises, they change the scope constantly and promise the world to executives while undermining and piling more work onto developers. I know of someone who worked for Ettain for three years and never received a raise despite changing contracts multiple times. I never felt job security working for this company. Every day was anxiety and fear that my job would be taken from me at any time. They will throw a meeting onto the calendar with five minutes and bombard you with bad news, or that a project is being cancelled and your job is at risk.
