Pros

HR recruiter's service was good.

Cons

To provide some context, I went through a rigorous selection process, including three interviews, for the aforementioned position. I was delighted when you, as the HR recruiter, contacted me to extend a verbal offer, indicating that the position was mine pending the completion of necessary procedures to finalize the offer. You explicitly advised me not to leave my current job until I received the official offer. With great trust and enthusiasm, I patiently waited for the offer to materialize, declining two enticing offers from multinational companies in the process. During the nine-day waiting period, I regularly sought reassurance from you regarding the progress of the offer. Each time, I was assured that everything was on track, giving me further confidence to decline the other opportunities. However, the subsequent turn of events shattered my trust and left me in a state of disbelief. On the ninth day, after eagerly anticipating the offer, I received a disheartening communication from you indicating that the company had decided to hire only one candidate instead of the previously agreed-upon two. This sudden change and the subsequent revocation of the job offer have had a significant impact on me, both professionally and personally. Allow me to express the depth of my frustration and disappointment with the company's handling of this situation. Not only did I invest considerable time and effort into the interview process, but I also made important decisions about my career trajectory based on the verbal offer I received. I trusted the integrity of the hiring process and relied on the information provided by you. By revoking the offer after such a prolonged period of waiting, the company has demonstrated a lack of professionalism and regard for candidates' time and aspirations. The repercussions of this decision extend beyond the missed opportunities from the other job offers I declined. My morale has been severely affected, and I find myself questioning the company's values and commitment to fair and transparent hiring practices.

Pros

Exposure to global operations and international entities across multiple regions, which provides strong experience working with cross-border finance and treasury processes. Opportunity to work with a variety of banking platforms, payment systems, and internal treasury tools. Good learning environment for understanding intercompany funding structures, reconciliations, and multinational corporate processes. Colleagues are generally knowledgeable and experienced in payments and treasury operations. Large international company with stable business operations in the payments industry.

Cons

Processes and responsibilities can sometimes be unclear or change frequently, which may make onboarding and day-to-day work challenging for newer employees. Documentation and standardized procedures could be improved to reduce ambiguity and dependency on individual knowledge. Communication between teams or regions can occasionally be slow due to the global structure and time zone differences. Some workflows rely heavily on manual processes or legacy systems, creating inefficiencies that could benefit from further automation. Work expectations may require significant independent problem solving with limited initial guidance.
